As General Chair of NOLTA2011, I would like to convey the symposium's deepest sympathy to the researchers in Japan for the tragedy that has been caused as a result of the recent earthquake and tsunami.

Fortunately, there was limited damage to most of our members and our workplaces. Due to this, it is pleased to inform you that we will definitely hold the NOLTA 2011 in Kobe according to the schedule, 4-7 September 2011. We are looking forward to seeing you all in Kobe in the coming September.
